Rice harvesting volunteer for damaged rice paddies in Minami-uonuma
　ECOPLUS is seeking volunteers for manual rice harvesting as torrential rain in end July has severely damaged rice paddies in Minami-uonuma, Niigata.

Experience snow shoveling and learn winter food preservation methods passed down for generations in a deep snow village, Tochikubo, Niigata.

ABC of rice growing
20 people enjoyed the culture and life in Tochikubo at the “ABC in a rice paddy” program.
A total of 20 people, including company workers, students, and families from various countries,visited Tochikubo, Niigata Prefecture from Tokyo metropolitan area. They enjoyed walking around the area and rice planting over the weekend.

Childrens’ Snow Camp
From March 27 to 29, ecoplus organized a snow camp in Shimizu, Minamiuonuma, Niigata. Fifteen children between 4th and 8th grade, from Minamiuonuma, Osaka, Gifu, Aichi and Kanagawa, participated.
